Aladino and JRE Tobacco may not be household names in the premium cigar industry, but that doesn’t mean you haven’t enjoyed a cigar or two from these fine folks before. As a matter of fact, you’ve probably heard of a few brands made famous by them. JRE stands for Julio R. Eiroa. He’s the father of Christian Eiroa of Camacho and now CLE Cigar fame, and his factories and farms helped put those brands on the map. Julio has been growing tobacco and making cigars for over 50 years. He was the first person to grow authentic Cuban-seed Corojo tobacco outside of Cuba. This authentic Corojo leaf changed the course of the industry 20 years ago, and it continues to be one of the most sought after tobaccos on the planet. Simply put, Aladino is an under the radar brand that produces some seriously good cigars.

To put it simply, Aladino is everything we miss about “old school” cigars. The wrapper, binder and filler leaves create a “puro” blend that will take the seasoned cigar smoker back in time. Aladino uses the famous Cuban Corojo seed that is no longer used in Cuba. This prized seed is controlled by one man, Julio Eiroa and this particular liga uses Corojo tobaccos in all sizes along with a Honduran grown Cameroon wrapper. Each Aladino is strikingly smooth, and has become a boutique favorite here in our store
