Alec Bradley Prensado cigars should be no stranger to cigar smokers of the last 4 or 5 years. In 2011, the Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill scored an amazing 96 points in Cigar Aficionado and was named their 2011 Cigar of The Year.
While many new blends have been released by Alec Bradley in the last few years, few have been able to attain the "classic" status that the Alec Bradley Prensado Line has been able to achieve. Their blends are fantastic, but the Prensado strikes an amazing balance of flavor and complexity.
The Alec Bradley Prensado is manufactured in the world-renowned Raices Cubanas factory in Danli, Honduras. Utilizing a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos along with a Nicaraguan-grown binder leaf from Jalapa, this combination of carefully selected tobaccos ensures a complex base. Topping the blend is a dark and oily Honduran wrapper grown in Trojes, Honduras which is located in the south of the nation. Truthfully, when Alan Rubin discovered this wrapper leaf, it was his inspiration for the blend.
The Alec Bradley Prensado is a medium-strength cigar with full flavor. This classic smoke is rich with flavors of leather, coffee, pepper and spice and it finishes with a dash of chocolate sweetness.
