Davidoff is one of the most well known brands in the world today. In the cigar world, Davidoff is known for making some of the best cigars on the market today. Using quality tobacco and the best rollers, each cigar they create is sure to be flavorful and near perfectly constructed. And while they produce some fabulous regular production lines, every once in awhile they allow their master blenders to reach into the rarest of their large tobacco stores and create some once-in-a-lifetime blends. And while these blends may be limited, they are definitely something every collector the world over looks for.
The Davidoff Art Initiative was founded in 2012 with the aim of creating projects that payed homage to the artistic culture of the greater Caribbean region. This year the Davidoff Art Initiative debuted the first release, the Limited Art Edition 2014. Featuring the work of contemporary Dominican artist, Quisqueya Henríquez, the Limited Art Edition 2014 is offered in two beautifully colored box designs. 3,000 boxes of 10 were produced of each color design for a total of 6,000 boxes and 60,000 cigars total. The profile of the Davidoff Limited Art Edition features a rich and creamy cocoa flavor, nuttiness, and a mix of soft earthy notes. The complexity and balance of this blend is nothing short of superb.
