The Davidoff Yamasa is a unique cigar designed to pay tribute to a specific tobacco growing region in the Dominican Republic. What makes the Yamasa region special is its fertile soil. While the earth has the right composition for growing tobacco, it is a notoriously labor intensive process. This yields less tobacco and makes it difficult to craft a line around. However it’s flavorful and burns well, and Davidoff’s blending team decided to create a small production cigar around it.
