Muestra de Saka Krakatoa (6x48 / Box 7)

Being under development for over three years, the Muestra de Saka Krakatoa cigar is one of the longest, most painstakingly crafted cigars in Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust's highly respected portfolio. The blend is officially considered the seventh release in DTT's connoisseur-geared Muestra de Saka series, featuring custom-tuned cigar blends that are tailored for an individual size. Muestra cigars are said to be a glimpse into the cigarmaker's soul—in this case, DTT owner/founder, Steve Saka.

Dunbarton Muestra de Saka Krakatoa is named after the Krakatoa volcano that rests between the islands of Java and Sumatra, which gave way to one of the most deadly volcanic events in modern history with its 1883 eruption. This alarming title was inspired by the Krakatoa cigar's powerful blend, which includes a range of unique and/or fan-favorite tobaccos. The recipe begins with an Ecuador Habano Grade A1 wrapper, being secured over a Nicaraguan sun-grown binder and fillers of Nicaraguan Broadleaf, Criollo, and Corojo (some of which were harvested at the acclaimed Aganorsa Leaf fields of Nicaragua).

Crafted in a single 6" x 48 toro format complete with a "volcano spiral" cap, the Dunbarton Muestra de Saka Krakatoa cigar is among the most fiery smoking experiences from Steve Saka to date, offering a full-bodied profile and signature components of black pepper, mineral-rich soil, bittersweet espresso, and chocolate-covered black licorice through the finish.
