Padron Family Reserve No. 95 Maduro Limited Edition 2021 (4.75x60 / Box 10)

Padron almost never announces new cigars, so today is huge for the cigar world. Brand new Padron Family Reserve No. 90 is now available. This will sell out! Everything is sold on a first come, first served basis.

The Padrón Family Reserve No. 95, teased at the 2021 Premium Cigar Association trade show, is going to be in cigar stores soon. Padrón plans to start shipping the short, fat and round smokes tomorrow. The cigars are 4 3/4 inches long, with a plump 60 ring gauge, and they are available in two wrapper styles, natural and maduro.

They are rolled in Nicaragua. Unlike most Padrón cigars, these are round, rather than box pressed. (All Padróns start off as round smokes, but most go through a pressing that squares them off.) The No. 95 is named after Padrón founder José Orlando Padrón, who founded Padrón Cigars in Miami in 1964. He died in 2017 at the age of 91.

In 2021, he would have been 95 years old. Today, his son Jorge runs the company. Cigars in Padrón’s Family Reserve line are made with the company’s oldest tobaccos.

The Family Reserve No. 95 has a suggested retail price of $295 for a box of 10 ($29.50 per cigar), and it's not available to all Padrón accounts—this one was made in support of the PCA trade show, and is only available to those who attended in person and placed orders last year. Padrón has won Cigar of the Year a record four times, including our most recent contest in 2021.
