Perdomo is one of the few vertically integrated cigar makers in the industry. That sounds fancy and all but it is something quite unique in this business. Most of the tobacco used in Perdomo cigars are grown, cured, and aged in their own facilities, but it goes far beyond that. Perdomo’s manufacturing facilities consist of farms, greenhouses, curing barns, fermentation warehouses, selection and sorting departments, production facilities, a state of the art box factory, and a first class packaging operation. Each and every department is fully committed to making sure quality is our top priority. To that end, Tabacalera Perdomo produces some of the most sought after handmade cigars in the world. They have set a high bar for quality and flavor which offer cigar enthusiasts a rich and satisfying smoking experience.
Last year saw the release of the wildly popular Perdomo double aged 12 year vintage. This blend took all the tobacco used to make a great Perdomo blend, and added another level of refinement by aging the tobaccos a second time in oak bourbon barrels for another two years. This method gave the tobaccos another layer of depth and complexity. Perdomo took the same concept, applied it to some smaller-sized, 8 year aged leaves, and the aged them for 2 years in those oak bourbon barrels. Boom. The Perdomo small batch was born. It is available in wrappers to cater to a variety of smokers. The Connecticut blend has a rich and creamy profile. The Sun Grown has a sweet and spicy flavor with almonds in the finish. Finally the Maduro blend is a flavorful mixture of dark coffee and cocoa.
