Viaje Limited Edition Mrs. Hatchet Box-Pressed Toro (6x50 / 5 Pack)

The Mrs. Hatchet is a beautiful medium brown, soft box pressed that sits at a 6x50 vitola. It’s reasonably pliant beneath the fingers, and it draws beautifully. The inner workings of this smoke were not disclosed. The cold draw is of leather, freshly cut straw, and bread dough. There is also a slight pepper to the cold draw as well, but on a more peppercorn note. Now, I had high expectations going in, but this smoke really was fantastic from the start and far exceeded them. There we’re very light notes of pepper and cream to start. That fades quickly after the first inch, but heats up in a hurry! What follows the foot of this a cigar, really was as much of a dessert as any on the table at dinner!
